The Chicago Architecture Center’s Open House Chicago is this weekend, though check the details carefully! This year it’s involving a limited number of neighborhoods: Bridgeport lucked out and will be included, while Back of the Yards will not! So Bubbly Dynamics’ first building, known simply as Bubbly, will be participating, and the usual weekend schedule will take place at The Plant (so you can always swing by Whiner’s taproom for beer and pizza, or tours on Sunday).

So stop in to Bubbly at 1048 W. 37th St. on Sat./Sun. Oct. 15-16 between 10am-4pm to look inside at this former paint warehouse that now houses a collaborative community of fabricators and artists, many of whom will hold open studios over the weekend. Visitors will get a sense of how the principles that Bubbly Dynamics explored and implemented during this building’s renovation guided the redevelopment approach for our second building, The Plant.
