Join us for May Day!

Celebrate May Day with Dominic Pacyga, professor emeritus of history at Columbia College and curator of the Packingtown Museum, for a free in-person presentation on Polish Americans and the Struggle for Organized Labor. This illustrated talk will take place on Sun. May 1 at 3pm in the Packingtown Museum here at The Plant. More details are here.

The Community Harvest Educational Foundation is offering FREE plant-based cooking and nutrition workshops for high school students. These workshops will be held every Sunday at noon-2pm for six weeks, and registration is required in advance of the start date of May 1; contact us for more info!

Visit the Turtle Stop for products made and grown at The Plant, everyday grocery and cleaning essentials, gifts, and more. Bonus shop hours will be held today from 1-5pm.

Tours of The Plant and Whiner’s brewery are on as usual at 2pm (advance tickets available here) and 3pm respectively. Then continue the discussion in Whiner’s taproom for good eats & drinks. Pizza kitchen will be slinging pies until 7pm.
