Jan. 2024 Newsletter

As we step into 2024 and the days begin to get longer, our January newsletter was filled with 2023 reflections. This past year was filled with a variety of events and programs, with partners old and new. We added a new case study to our Toolkit, expanded responsible handling of tricky-to-recycle materials (like styrofoam!), got creative making new merch out of gently used tote bags and scarves, and were even featured in Business Insider! We welcomed new stories to The People of the Stock Yards digital exhibition of the Packingtown Museum, *finally* received permits to finish the interior build-out of Norwich (coming soon, right next door to Bubbly), and welcomed over 3000 visitors during events at The Plant when we were counting... who knows how many more folks stopped by during our day-to-day?...

Thank you all for being a part of our community and joining us on this sustainable experiment. We wish everyone a happy new year and look forward to seeing you, whether you're stopping into Whiner's taproom for beer + BBQ, taking a tour of The Plant, visiting the Packingtown Museum, browsing the Turtle Stop for products made/grown at The Plant and other local spots, or checking out a special event.
